2010 Vintage

Coolest, foggiest summer on record. Mildew and Botrytis pressure extremely high. Severe heat and low humidity on August 23rd and 24th decimated some varieties, especially Zinfandel, Carignane, and Alicante Bouschet in valley floor vineyards. Rhone varieties and most whites fared well, producing well-balanced, flavorful wines.
