2015 Vintage

Another drought vintage. Budbreak was very early. Weather at bloom was variable. Early blooming vineyards experienced significant shatter, leading to yields up to 50% less than normal. Later blooming vineyards fared much better. A very warm to hot growing season and a record early start (and end) to harvest. Wines are generally more red fruited than black, very approachable, and lower in acidity than 2014.
